I love May
For those who know me you know that May is my most favorite month! It May have something to do with my birthday.... :)
I have been a little absent, mostly because I have become (shamelessly) addicted to Army Wives. Its sad but true.
To catch up, last weekend I ventured home to throw my darling cousin a Bridal Shower It was a lot of work. My mom was feeling under the weather and we made a ton of food for the shower. My mother is Martha Steward and everything had to be themed with Katie's Wedding colors which are green and black, right down to the "green tea cupcakes" The shower ended up being a great success and we so look forward to the wedding in June.
While at home the fam and I got to celebrate Mother's Day and my birthday a little early. To my wonderful mother, I hope that I act like everyday is mother's day. My mom is one of the strongest, most determined, most wise people I know. I hope that I can be a quarter of how great she is.
It was nice to get showered with presents for my birthday- I am so blessed!
Then this past weekend was my actual birthday, Zach made me feel very special. I spent the day leisurely and then we had an amazing dinner at Barton G's, this is a restaurant that is known for its presentation and I will tell you they did not disappoint! It was pricey, but a great special occasion restaurant.
IN other news...
Zach got a paid internship at Burger King corporate office! He continues to amaze me, he works so hard and we are so amazingly blessed for him to receive all these amazing opportunities. His email will be @whopper.com :) its the little things in life.
Gearing up for a busy May- filled with weddings, luncheons and baby showers. Both at work and in my personal life.
Thanks for reading- I am so lucky to have so many great people in my life!
