Christmakah

Any other O.C fans out there. I always loved that show, and the Christmakah episodes were the best. Although I do not celebrate Chanukah I do love Christmas. This post is a little late, as I have had the apartment decorated since Thanksgiving Day. I wanted to share with you my little Christmas Town and tell you all how thrilled I am to be coming home to Atlanta to see family and long lost friends!

I am really trying to get in the spirit as the day draws near, Zach and I have already started buying Christmas presents for our loved ones, and I can't wait to see everyone open them on Christmas morning. I listen to Christmas music as much as possible and wear red as much as I can! :) I really do love the season. On top of all of that my Christmas Cards will be going out tomorrow!


Work has been tough, I am there more than at home. But the great thing about the catering department is that rarely do you have conferences that happen over holidays. So we have nothing from Dec 19 until after Christmas. So that is my mantra, Dec 19, Dec 19, Dec 19.... I can't wait to have 7 days with no work commitments and 7 days to relax and sleep in. It will be glorious, a Christmas Miracle perhaps.

Anyhow- thats all I know right now about Christmas! Happy December to you all and I will try to be back before the 19th but I can't guarentee anything!

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. I am now the Social Catering Manager for The Mandarin Oriental Miami. So I will now be booking weddings, showers, birthday parties and much more! Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
