King Size
Hello all my friends and readers, I hope the end of summer is treating everyone well.
I have missed you all- I have had a little writer's block since my last inspirational 1AM post. :)
This past week has been exciting though. Z and I have been busy buying things, we are quite good at that. We purchased ourselves a new bed- king size as you may have guessed. It's amazing it was delivered on Tuesday and I have been in sleeping heaven ever since. Sleeping is such a past time of mine, that this makes it even more delightful.
So because of the upgrade our apartment has been turned upside down! We sold all my queen furniture on Craig's List, and that included night stands dresser and bed. So I am having a bit of a storage issue- as in all my clothes are on the floor. So that will need to be the next purchase, a dresser. During all this moving we sold a lot of our unused stuff like old DVD's and movies and books. We ended up making like $400 on used stuff. So that was an exciting night :)
I would suggest this to anyone because you get rid of a lot of stuff and you make money its a win win. Just google it, but find places that pay for shipping!
I also went to a baby shower on Sunday for a co-worker she is due on Oct 6. Her and her twin sister are preggo and due a day apart. Which is beyond crazy but it was a joint baby shower and a lot of fun!
Then on Monday my boss treated me and Zach to dinner in Azul, which is our fine dining restaurant. During the summer Miami restaurants do this thing called Miami Spice, where really nice restaurants put together a 3 course meal for $35. This is a way for everyone to get to try some of the most famous restaurants, but it is also to bring business to local restaurants.
So we had the Miami Spice menu at Azul and it was fantastic! We loved it :) Here is one of the pics we took- it was with the IPhone so its a little pixley.
So the reason we got the free meal was because I am going to be helping out in Azul at nights to make a little extra money and because they are so busy during Miami Spice. Nothing major just hostess/greeting guests. My first night was last night- which was a lot of fun. I really like the atmosphere and very interesting people come in. Last night we had a table buy a $650 bottle of wine :)
Well thats all for now I have to get ready to get back to Azul! I will keep you updated on the furniture hunting and I will for sure post pics of the new bedroom and closet once we get it organized.
Loves.
