Lackadaisical

I do realize how long it has been, so you don't even have to mention it.

I have been a slacker. I think about the blog alot but then never feel like doing it. So here I am back to blogging.

The past few weeks have been eventful. We had Zach's parents and brothers visit us for the first time. It was great to get to show them around Miami. I always love for people I care about to see what our life is like. I always feel like when they leave they know us even a little better. While they were in town we celebrated Christopher's 11th Birthday, with an oreo and a cake. Look at the Pics and you will know what I mean.

Secondly, my job has been going great. I am really getting a feel of the Catering department, I have started working with Victoria our Social Catering director and learning even more about Wedding and social event planning. I love the social side of planning, and this is a great opportunity to learn more. I will have to tell you more about Victoria later, she is fabulous and VERY well respected in the Miami Community. Her Blog has tons of readers. Check it out and become a follower. She has some great advice about planning a wedding. And you can get a glimpse into some of the things I do everyday.

This weekend I am looking forward to going to Orlando to see my baby sis and visit Harry Potter World with her. I am a huge nerd and I LOVE HP. A couple of weekends ago Z and I had a whole weekend long marathon with all the movies and it made me love it even more. So I am super excited about that and I know I will come back with tons of pictures.

So expect the next post to be Harry Potter themed!!

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
