I do realize how long it has been, so you don't even have to mention it. I have been a slacker. I think about the blog alot but then never feel like doing it. So here I am back to blogging. The past few weeks have been eventful. We had Zach's parents and brothers visit us for the first time. It was great to get to show them around Miami. I always love for people I care about to see what our life is like. I always feel like when they leave they know us even a little better. While they were in town we celebrated Christopher's 11th Birthday, with an oreo and a cake. Look at the Pics and you will know what I mean. Birthday Dinner at Burger and Beer Joint! Secondly, my job has been going great. I am really getting a feel of the Catering department, I have started working with Victoria our Social Catering director and learning even more about Wedding and social event planning. I love the social side of planning, and this is a great opportunity to learn more. I will have to tell y...

I know I have been absent for a couple of weeks but I am back and ready for show and tell. I have a lot to catch you up on but honestly I will most likely do that this weekend. Today I want to post about my Great Grandmother who just celebrated her 98th Birthday! Amazing in so many ways. She lives in Elijay GA on the same land for the past 75 years. She had 8 children, named them all names starting with the letter H. She has been through a lot, and has experienced parts of our history that only a few others can share in common with her. Her memory is pretty good and when you least expect it she tells a story of her past that would blow you away. She was born in 1912 and in her lifetime she has experienced just a few things like... 1. Sinking of the Titanic, Balkan wars, 1912. 2. Electric refrigerator, first moving assembly line created by Ford, 19132. 3. Treaty of Versailles, 1919. 4. Prohibition began in the U.S., U.S. women get the vote. 1920. 5. TV invented, Lindbergh crosses the At...

I am back... By Popular Demand! I have been in Panama City Beach this past week for The Walk which is North Point's summer church camp. It was a truely amazing time. I loved The Walk as a high schooler and to come back and lead 9th grade girls was a treat. Michelle was my high school small group leader, I was in her first group and now these girls are her 3rd group. It was so amazing to spend time with her, and for us to talk about old times. I also love the girls in thier group- they are such great individuals and I am excited to see how they grow and change in the next four years. I grow so close to them the past 4 days it was so sad to leave them. I have to stop here for a shout out to my new friend Hope she is literally the most hilarious person I ever met. We laughed all weekend. I could tell you story after story but I am sure that they wouldn't translate over blogger world. Jessica is the other co-leader, she is also amazing and was always keeping us and the girls...
