Friends

Today is a break from the usual for me... Well its not like my schedule is always so normal- but I like days like this. I don't have to be at work until 2:30PM because I am doing a half day today and Sunday and then I have Saturday off. So although it isn't ideal it is better than nothing. So I spent the morning sleeping until 11:30 and then watching TV. After I finish this post I will take a shower and get ready and hopefully be out of work by 6:30PM- thats the goal :)


I have been doing some reflecting the past 24 hours, on how important it is to have friendships. I have been having a hard time making real friends here. I mean I have my work friends which are great but they are really just in different stages than me. And then Z's law school friend, but its just been hard to make friends with my work schedule and such. So thats why its so important to hold on to the friends that I already have, even with the distance between us.

Well thats all the insight I have right now. Keep your friends close...

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. I am now the Social Catering Manager for The Mandarin Oriental Miami. So I will now be booking weddings, showers, birthday parties and much more! Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
