Easter Day

Happy Easter! I hope that you all had an amazing Easter Day and got to spend time with people you love.

I would be lying if I said that I wasn't a little sad this Easter. Usually I go to my Great Grandmother's House (She will be 98 in July). This was my first Easter ever to not be with my family eating good food hiding eggs and such. Thats the one of the hardest parts of being in Miami is missing the holidays. Although I was very happy today to get to spend time with Gaga and Oby. They invited us to brunch in Pompano Beach. It was great to be with some new family on Easter.

As for our crazy life:

K.C. and Bert were here from Thursday until Sunday, thats when they left for their 7 night cruise. They were a lot of fun to hang out with and we got to show them a lot of Miami. Including one HOT day at the beach where everyone left with a little more color.

Carrie came on Friday night and we also had a great weekend. But there will be another post to follow- to describe our fun times.

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. I am now the Social Catering Manager for The Mandarin Oriental Miami. So I will now be booking weddings, showers, birthday parties and much more! Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
