A Little Catch Up...


We this past week has been full of delightful moments. My dad came into town on Wednesday and stayed until Saturday morning. We had a great time and Zach and I showed dad all over town. The best way to go through our adventures is through the below pictures :) So take a look and enjoy.



Dad was nice enough to buy Zach and I some plants for our deck. I love the way it fills the deck out. We got 2 Yucca trees and then the pretty plant below.
I must admit that my father has improved in his photography skills. This is one of Downtown Miami right where we live.

Thats all the photos I have to share. All in all it was a great week with my dad. I have today and tomorrow off so I am going to be getting some things on my list checked off. Like I am getting my name changed tomorrow.

Also I have to brag a little about how smart my husband is; he got his grades back on Friday and he did AMAZING. A 3.66 GPA and made Dean's List. 2 A's 2 B +'s and 1 B. I can't tell you how proud I am of him! All his hard work paid off.

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. I am now the Social Catering Manager for The Mandarin Oriental Miami. So I will now be booking weddings, showers, birthday parties and much more! Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
