These are the Roses that Zach gave me today for our 4 months of marriage milestone! They are gorgeous and I am lucky to have such a thoughtful husband.

Early May Zach and I graduated from Auburn University


My sister graduated from West Forsyth High School and decided to attend UGA

During the course of the summer I had 4 AMAZING showers as seen below!

In June my mom turned 50! She is having more fun now than ever before.


On August 7th 2009 I became Mrs. Zachary Dickens
Also on this day my Grandparents had their 65th Anniversary
And My parents celebrated their 26th Anniversary



We had an amazing honeymoon in Key West


Then we moved to Miami Florida, this is our apartment when we first moved in!

Zach then started Law School at University of Miami

and I found an incredible career opportunity at The Mandarin Oriental... I am a fan!



In September Lauren and Elliott got married!

In December Zach and Carrie got engaged!


And Zach and I are going to have our first Christmas as husband and wife!

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. I am now the Social Catering Manager for The Mandarin Oriental Miami. So I will now be booking weddings, showers, birthday parties and much more! Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
