It has been a little while since my last post...

Random Updates and Thoughts from My Last Post:
  • Wednesday I worked my first 11 work day- I mean one that I get paid for.
  • In this past week I have single handedly moved 73 boxes. Talk about a workout
  • Zach and I have been to the pool twice this week- still working on my tan
  • Wednesday night we ate blueberry muffins for dinner
  • I got in a baking mood and made 27 muffins of the blueberry and chocolate chip variety
  • We have to put the muffins on top of the fridge so Juneau won't eat them- but today he took all of the dirty dishes out of the sink and licked them clean (gross) **More motivation to do the dishes
  • Zach has gotten back into FIFA...
  • Zach still doesn't read my blog so I can say whatever I want to about him haha
  • I have dealt with a lot of crap this week from some certain clients and I did a LOT for them and I got no tip :(
  • I got a HUGE compliment from the Banquet Chef and it made my day
  • I will work Friday Saturday and Sunday- But I get Monday and Tuesday off
  • My little sister got into Freshman Forum- I am SUPER proud of her!! It was an interview and she thought she didn't do well but OH the contrary
  • Today we had a wine tasting at work- I love my job :)
  • Today I decided that I want to go to Oregon and stay at The King Estate Winery. Like I am really going to go there!
I think that all my random thoughts from the last time we talked. I didn't feel much like story telling so I got straight to the point. Here are some random pictures!

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. I am now the Social Catering Manager for The Mandarin Oriental Miami. So I will now be booking weddings, showers, birthday parties and much more! Check out my Director's blog - she is an incredible Social Catering Director and it will be a pleasure to learn and work with her. 4. Zach and I had our Second "official" date night. Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous. In other news it seems that 2011 is the year of the weddings, Z and I have a lot of dear friends and family getting married this year.
