Hiatus
Where to start??
Well I realize that I have been absent for almost 3 months now and I have decided to put an end to the silence. To be honest, I didn't think you guys would want to hear the truth about things. But then I realized that for better or worse, this is an outlet and seeing as most of you read this to be able to keep up with my life I can see how it feels as if I fell off the face of the earth.
I will catch you up on life as I know it...
My cousin Katie got married, I found out my other cousin Kelly is expecting a baby girl in March :), Zach and I went to a few weddings of dear friends, John and Lindsay, Michael and Rebekah, Chris and Ashley, Kyle and Abby... I think I covered everyone!
Zach and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary on August 7th. For an anniversary trip we went to D.C. and stayed at The Mandarin. My wonderful friend got us upgraded to a suite and we were like a King and Queen for a weekend.
Zach got an opportunity to apply for an intership, that would offer 12 hours of credit, at the Florida Supreme Court. It was an amazing offer for him to be asked to apply as they usually only take one person from each law school in Florida. The only catch was that this job was in Tallahassee, FL. We discussed it and decided that he should apply. I had that feeling deep down that if he applied he would get the position. AND he did.
So I said all these things to myself... It's only 3 months, we will see each other every weekend, I will be busy with work, Its a great opportunity for us... and on and on. And for the most part all of those things are true. It is only 3 months and this is a wonderful opportunity professionally for Z and us.
I will say that it has been tough, I have gone through stages. At first I was completely miserable, unhappy and just generally depressed; as you can imagine I was not very pleasent to be around and there were a lot of tears. But things have gotten much better! I have been doing yoga regularly, watching all the seasons of Sex and the City and working on some projects. To be honest I have learned a lot about myself during this time, and in turn I am constantly reminded that everything happens for a reason.
In turn they love Zach in Tallahassee and it does seem to be working out for the best for us, but more about that later!
Now that my world isn't so depressing. I will try to get back to my normal posting schedule! Thanks for caring and thanks for reading... for better or worse.
Loves.
