June Bug

I am back...

I hate excuses, but just one for you... June has been extremely busy. I will fill you in with a visual journey later. It has consisted of 3 purchased airfares, a new baby, birthdays, Father's Day and busy work weeks.

But I want and need to update you all with whats been happening.

First travel weekend: Katie's Bachelorette party in Savannah GA. Flew into Savannah at 12:30A on Saturday morning and flew out at 4:30AM on Sunday Morning. It was a short trip and there was not much sleep involved. But it was a wonderful way to celebrate with my wonderful cousin who is getting married on June 26th
The week inbetween was very busy with Bridal Networking Events, and late nights at work. So busy in fact that I didn't make a proper dinner all week! That is so unlike me these days, and let me tell you that really killed the budget. (*more on Z and I's new budget later)

This past weekend, I flew home to Atlanta. Zach's parents were kind enough to let us crash at thier very beautiful new house in Montaluce Winery in Dahlonaga GA. Friday was a wonderfully fun night catching up with great friends and drinking beautiful wine made from the winery. The house is so unbelivable, it has 4 bedrooms- each with a bath and balcony. A finished basement with a Oak Wine Room, and not to mention a painters nook on the 4th level. It was orignially used as the show house, and was bought with all the original furniture- so basically its straight out of Martha Stewart.

Saturday was John & Lindsay's Wedding in Norcross. Beautiful Bride, Beautiful Ceremony! We really enjoyed catching up with old friends and being there as John and Lindsay became husband and wife.

We are back in Miami, but will do this all over again for Katie's wedding this upcoming weekend. It is a wedding year for Zach and I so we are trying to make it work, and go to as many as possible!

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. I am now the Social Catering Manager for The Mandarin Oriental Miami. So I will now be booking weddings, showers, birthday parties and much more! Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
