Miami Sunset

I must tell you of the TWO amazing events I attended on Thursday night. The first was to benefit March of Dimes. It was a food show with all the great restaurants in Miami. So we walked around the entire ballroom, sampled as much food as possible and drank our free wine. It was an incredible turn out and the even is for such a great cause. I love being friends with Allie (my PR girl) she gets invited to a lot of great events around Miami and sometimes I am lucky enough to be her date!

We then went over to the Design District and entered a Heaven on earth or more commonly called a Sample Sale. I am telling you 3 floors of purses, shoes and clothes. I was loving it, except for my poor feet were killing me. I must say that Thursday really put a strong desire in me to "experience" Miami. I just don't want to leave this city without taking any of the culture with me. Thats why being connected and attending these events are so fun and make me feel like I am getting the Miami experience.

Today was one of those great days that you never want to be over. I didn't have to work, always a plus. So I slept in, then Zach and I went to a great lunch it was such a beautiful day so we sat outside and enjoyed the weather. I just love when days can be at your pace and not sped up as they so often are. It really is days like today that make me so thankful for my life and my wonderful husband. To be able to have fun with him and just have a lazy day makes me feel unbelievably blessed. Today I also got to be a little bit crafty, to add to my fall decorations. My new big addition to the fall decor is my Pumpkin Chandelier, I think it turned out really great. Slowly but surely I am transforming the apartment a little at a time.

Take a look at the pictures below.

Also... This post wouldn't be complete without wishing my baby sister a happy birthday!! Today I can hardly believe she is 20 years old. It seems like yesterday we were like 6 and 9 years old riding in the car on family vacations for HOURS and HOURS. She has grown into a amazing young woman who will surely continue to do great things. I love you Olivia, Happy Birthday.

A few pictures strictly for nostalgia's sake.
