Great Day at Work

Image
So today was a great day not only did I get a little gift from my in house group (NARS) the makeup company. I planned a trip to Panama City Beach to attend The Walk a yearly summer church retreat, with my old small group leader acting as co-leader. Amazing I am soo excited. I am giddy. I can't wait to share all the exciting news and pictures with you when I get back :) Loves.

And Now the Wine

Lets just say I had a productive day with only 2 breakdowns One of those came early this morning... So lets just say I am quickly approaching my first year of marriage and my last name has yet to officially become Dickens, not for lack of trying, but nonetheless. So I decided today was the day and I hatched a plan. Wake up early got to the social security office drop Zach at work go home get back in bed. No no no my friends that is not how the day progressed. Zach and I woke up at 6:30A (on my day off no less) left the house by 7AM and traveled 30 minutes to a social security that did not exist. So my husband the eternal optimist decided we could go to another office close by. As we drove by the next office, I decided I would not get out of the car as I was fearing for my life. This is where breakdown #1 occurred. I sometimes get down when plans I make don't go as planned and I may over react a tad (ok i may act like the world is ending, its something I am working on.) SO I digres...

Its Been a While...

So I know it has been a while since my last fab post. So what have I been up to you ask? Well nothing really stands out. Basically Miami feels a lot like I think Hell might feel. So we don't go out much, I walk to work and by the time I get there I am so hot it takes me a good 20 minutes to cool down. And I hear it only gets worse- So I am not looking forward to that. Other Things that are happening: Zach and I started P90X we are on day 10. I really love it- definatly takes a lot of time as each workout is atleast an hour. But we took before pics and everything- after out 30, 60 or 90 days I may post them (depending on the improvement) Also Z and I are working on an anniversary trip Aug 7th is quickly approaching- I am super excited maybe Boston we are still working out the details though. Books: Ok so I have read 2 books lately that I would like to speak on 1. Girl in Translation by Jean Kwok - A true story about an immigrant mother and daughter who move to NY from China....

6 Fun Things

Hello all my devoted blog followers; I know you have missed me but alas I have been all over. Z and I went to ATL for Memorial Day and I have been getting back in the swing of things. This post I thought I would do something a little different. A lot of my down time is spent looking through the world wide web for interesting things, so I decided I would share with you some of the interesting and cool things I found this week. So here's my list :) 1. Laundry- So I know that we all (or most all) have the same opinion about laundry- blah. I personally think its too labor intensive. Folding and hanging clothes is not on my list of favorite things to do. So I found this GREAT article describing how often to wash clothes- check it out , you too may be over-washing 2. Next- I know we all google or bing about 47 times a day ( I know I do) but I read about this new site as well. Its called Swagbucks, Now I am new to this as well but apparently you sign up and the more you search the more p...
