So Here's The Deal!
I know I know... It's been too long. I have just been sooo tired. A lot of work and PLAY these past 2 weeks so I will break this down as best as I can for you. Because I know all my AVID followers out there are wondering what the heck I have been doing the past 10 days!
Washington D.C.
Last weekend Zach and I met my parents in D.C. for the weekend. We stayed at the Mandarin (very nice). We spent the weekend walking around town and taking tours. Seeing all the sights that we could see. Zach's father Chip was kind enough to give us money for a Town Car tour of the city and let me tell you that is the BEST way to see D.C. We also took a tour of the Capitol. I loved seeing Zach's eyes light up when we went to The Supreme Court. He really loved it. I think that it is important for him to get to see our Nation's Capital before he graduates from Law School. We made it back to Miami on Sunday night and we both had to get ready to get back to reality.
Lauren and Elliott
I know that La is thrilled to have her own heading ;)
La and El arrived Tuesday night from Atlanta to spend a couple of days with me and Zach. Unfortunatly I had to work a lot during the first part of thier stay but Zach showed them around town and they got to see all the interesting people on SOBE. They are returing on Sunday for the second part of thier visit.
Work
All week at work we have had a huge group in house. I can honestly say this may have been the most challenging thus far, but the meeting planners were hilarious and make my week as fun as it could have been. Here are a few pictures of the Car we had to crane over the terrace to get in the pre-foyer. Also I met Gen. Colin Powell (he was thier guest speaker) A very nice man with a great story. Also this week I decorated the work cafeteria for the March birthdays. So we made tissue paper flowers to hang from the ceiling. Lauren was so kind as to help me make the flowers.
Other News
I finished The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown I really liked it, because I am really into the suspense and mystery and Dan Brown is incredible at making the story seem soo real and pulling you into the story.
Also Zach and I finally watched The Time Travelers Wife a movie I have been dying to see for a while. I have to tell you I really liked it but I know that Zach won't ever let me watch it again; I cried like a baby (Let's compare it to P.S. I Love You- Whit and C.C know what I am talking about) so basically Zach has banned my from love stories without completely happy endings- I guess he thinks I can't handle them and I guess he may be right.
Well I will try to update in a few days we have more guests coming in. Get Ready Kace and Carrie!!!
