Oh SNAP...

Reading Carrie's Blog made me realize that I too have A LOT to be thankful for! It is always good to think about all the things that make you smile especially when you are having a rough day or week or month :)

I would give the list but I just will let you wonder until Thanksgiving when I will give my official list. (Don't worry Scott you will be on there somewhere ;)

This weekend was a lot of fun. Friday I was dead tired after a LONG week... And I came home to my wonderful husband cleaning like crazy. It made me so happy, because I knew I needed to clean and do laundry this weekend but I also knew that I didn't feel like it. Zach spoils me and he read my mind. He also did all the laundry and even made a hang line to dry clothes in our bedroom which was very fun-looking probably especially to those looking in!

Saturday, we watched football and hung out. This was our 3 month mark of marriage (still going strong). My sweet dad said we could have dinner on him, so we of course took him up on that offer. There was an art festival thing in South Beach, it was called Sleepless Night or something and it started at 6pm and lasted until 6am. I decided we should check it out so we drove over to South Beach and walked around. There were tons of people out and there were a few concerts and such, not as cool as I had hoped. But we did happen upon one cool thing. This fashion show on Nikki Beach. This awesome place that is like a Beach Club House. It was a swimsuit fashion show and there were beds everywhere and free champagne it was awesome. My first real live fashion show and Zach even enjoyed it!
We ate dinner after that and then headed home. Sunday I just hung around all day watched TV and made dinner. I sliced my toe open with a soup can lid- that was the most eventful thing that happened the whole day. No worries Zach came to the rescue with Neosporin and band-aids.

This weekend was fun and we met the girl next door who is from Atlanta, her name is Laura and she is our age. I am excited that we finally met our neighbor! Next step is to become friends- I hope one day we aren't friends and she reads this and realizes that I am a complete freak haha oh well I guess I will take that gamble :)

A few other quick notes- The winds are like 25 mph this weekend and I was cold in 79 degree weather. Also I bought 2 really awesome shirts this weekend and I hope you will enjoy some pictures new and old, but I thought it would keep you all up to date on our life.

Loves.
Oh the fun you can have with a paper bag... Below you can see the wind in full force! My sweet new shirt!
And a view of the Mandarin Oriental.

  1. I love all the pictures Em, makes me kind of feel like I am in Miami with you two. Zach was bragging the other day about the perfect weather, and I was jealous. Hope you are doing well and looking forward to seeing you soon!
