Official Picture tour of our apartment... So you can feel like you are here when you talk to me :)
This is the kitchen/dining room. The dining room table was a gift from Zach's grandmother and we love it. It is the perfect wood. Although the seats are bright yellow but its vintage and I am so into vintage lately!
This is our living room area, same red couches from Zach's college apartment and that is his painting that was in his bedroom at home and in his apartment in Auburn. We bought new pillows and new lamps to spruce it up! :)
Next the bathroom. The green was already painted which I liked and then we added the blue accent color with all the towels and such. The double sinks are a plus and the under counter space allows us to keep it clean on top.
Our bedroom is my favorite room. We painted the wall orange and Hannah's artwork decorates our whole room. The quote says "Love Conquers All" I also love the white comforter it is very serene and besides the night stands there is nothing else cluttering the floor.
Here is our closet, it is big in comparison to most in Miami. As you can see we have it packed to the hilt but it serves it's purpose.

Last night Zach and I went to Lincoln Rd on SB to see the movie Couples Retreat. It was funny and I need to see it again in better viewing conditions. We got there late and we had to sit in the 2nd row and it was hard to see. But it was still funny even very close up! Then we took a couple hours and walked down Lincoln Rd. The vibe is good all the shops were still open at 11PM and there are tons of people and restaurants. We had a bad dinner experience but we won't go into it ugh..
Today we had company. Zach's grandmother and Obie came to see us. It was great to see some family. They treated us to lunch and dinner and we showed them around Brickell and Coral Gables like the school and such. They enjoyed the sights. They are here to look for a house, they are trying to buy in Boyton Beach which is about an hour north of here. So they are here until Thursday looking at various houses.
The pictures below are the sweet gifts that they sent us this week. Gaga has always been sending us meat from Omaha Steaks. Even in college she would send Zach so much, but to be honest we would hardly ever get to use it. We would save it up and have huge cook-outs. But now I can't tell you how much it is appreciated. She saves us so much money at the grocery store with buying chicken, pork and hamburger meat. It is so great. The stacked boxes are an example of one shipment. The Halloween bucket is a special delivery that had candy and popcorn and such in it. YUM we have been eating that popcorn up!
Today was fun but also exhausting... Grandparents are kinda like little kids and you have to treat them as such. But we are glad that we will have family close by. I am also glad that I got to talk to my entire family on Skype today, I mean they were all there for Olivia, Katie and Sophie's birthday party. I wish I could have been there but I was glad that atleast I was included and Gaga and Obie got in on the fun too. They thought video chatting was the neatest thing they had ever seen.
As for me I am going to try to get a few things done then in bed by 10:30 I have an early morning everyday this week and we are going to meet up with the grandparents again on Tuesday and I think Monica is coming into town this week! So it could be busy.
Haha I love the granparents comparison. It's true but I don't know if I'd ever actually say it
