Weekend Recap


A few wedding pics!



It's hard to believe that it is already Sunday, I feel like these weekends fly by. Needless to say I was exhausted Friday, 3 days in a row of getting up at 4:50AM really takes it out of you. We watched TV and went to the hot tub (I have been so sore because of the working out)
Zach and I made a yummy dinner of steak and potatoes. Actually it was mostly Zach I helped a little bit. It was really good. We ended up taking Juneau for a walk and Zach walked me next to the bay. It was so pretty at night and the walk was the perfect distance! I just love it, so nice.
I feel asleep early around 11:30PM and was fast asleep in like 2 seconds.

Saturday Zach got up at 8:30AM and made eggs for me! They were interesting looking, but delicious to eat. We decided that we were going to go to the beach.So we packed up our stuff and drove 5 minutes to South Beach. The weather was great (I was afraid it was going to rain). It didn't rain, it was hot and great we stayed out on the beach for about an hour and then walked down Ocean Dr. to find something for lunch, after a little bit of indecision we decided on Flannigans. It was pretty good, Zach's was better than mine, BBQ Chicken Pizza! Then we decided to head home. I wasn't feeling so great so when I got home I decided to take a nap, which lasted until 6PM. When I got up it was almost time for the Auburn Game! It actually came on TV. So in honor of Auburn football season I decided on tailgating food! Hamburgers and served on our Auburn serving dish (courtesy of Michael Young). And ofcourse my good luck apron from the lovely K.C.

Last night I also put up so many wedding pictures, which I just got in the mail on Friday. I got over 2,000 pics but I picked the best 200! Check them out, they turned out so good. I am very happy.


Today was a lot of sleeping for me anyway. Then we ate Moe's for lunch which was so yummy! Zach watched the Falcons kill the Dolphins in football and I went to the pool, worked out and then tried to clean a little bit!

Tonight we ate breakfast for dinner!

I want make you comment anymore because either Katie and Scott are the only ones who read my blog or that was unsuccessful. I would like the think the latter.

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
