I Miss Tiger Nights
Thursday
Miami vs GA Tech
Zach Chris and I went to the Miami game at Landshark
Stadium. I will admit I was in a bad
mood from the beginning. I had a long day at work (I mean I missed lunch!! I never miss a meal) and then we went directly to the game. We ate first
which put us at the stadium right at 7:30 (the time the game started) Chris brib
ed, I mean literally bribed a parking attendant to let us park in the club section. The guy pocketed $20 and I got his picture. He was NOT happy about that, so I blur his face so he doesn't get fired, even though he has no morals.
Check out this guy who sat in front of us with eating
a HUGE turkey leg.
The game was packed with drunk college students, not just a little drunk but sloppy and crazy. The gates we had to enter through were completely unorganized and it was awful. I was being shoved into all these people who were completely unaware of where they were. The lines were also unclear and I had to change lines twice. Once we got in it was not clear where we were suppose to be and so we went section to section with no avail. It was very frustrating. We finally found seats in the upper deck and I tried to enjoy the game. We ended up killing GA Tech which was awesome and Chris and Zach had a great time. We ended up leaving with about 3 minutes left in the game and dropped Chris off at his car. We made it home by 12AM and I was so tired I fell right asleep.
Friday:
I had to be at work at 7AM we had a small breakfast meeting that went really well. Emmitt and I had a great time talking about life, and I find it so funny my inability to guess anyone's age. I was pretty busy all day getting ready for next week. We have 2 large groups coming in and I want to be as prepared as possible. I also had to deal with about 20 packages which is great but they were very heavy I mean one was 89 pounds. I think it was juggling equipment. :) *don't ask!!
I made it home by 4 and managed to take a little nap (oh anyone who knows me knows how much I LOVE my naps) I woke up and Zach and I went to Sunset Plaza. We shopped around and ate at Dan Marino's restaurant. It was pretty good! They were also showing some of Britto's artwork, which I love it is so colorful and amazing. We are having a great Britto Event at the Hotel it is going to be an event to talk about for the next year!!
Saturday:
Today we woke up at 10:15 ate breakfast and then headed to West Palm Beach to hit the consignment shops. It rained a little on the way there!
We went to this Goodwill Boutique, it was a goodwill filled with tons of top name clothes and things. It was great except for the price. I was disappointed because it was completely overpriced. I wanted so much to get on here and tell you what great deals I found but it just isn't so. It was too pricey for a Goodwill and all the other consignments were the same senario. It was a lot of BIG name Chanel, Dior, D&G but all too much to pay. I will say that I did find one good thing, a Calvin Klein Jacket that I can wear to work, it was originally for sale at the consignment store for $500 but I found it in the clearance room for $45 which is a lot but it is a very nice piece, my only small victory with name brands.
We found one store that had some great guys clothes. We bought Zach like 4 pairs of Kahki shorts all name brands for $16 which is great because all of his shorts are falling apart. So I am glad that we found that place it was the one success. One day when I want a Chanel suit but I don't want to pay $3000 I can go to these stores and pay $1000.
Then we made it home, thanks to Zach for his lovely driving. I took another nap :) then dinner Juneau thought it looked good! and the Auburn Game which started off slow but has turned into quite a victory! It is so exciting to AU doing so well and it really makes me want to be on the Plains for these fun times. Especially after seeing the torrential downpour, I would have sat in on the bleachers singing Clear Water Revival "Have you Ever Seen the Rain" Ahh so much fun, enjoy the time you have in Auburn man it flies by :) **I hate that saying**
My one depressing moment.
Friday night was Tiger Nights in Auburn and I got a text from a friend saying she was there and she missed me running around! I missed it too. I hope it was a HUGE success and I wish I could have been there walkie-talkie in hand, spooning nacho cheese and putting out fires. I miss my exec team Katie and Joey! Ahh its the little things that you miss when its all over :)
(sorry for the nostalgic moments throughout this posting)
Thats all for now- Thanks for reading.
