A Whirlwind!

Oh my goodness today was crazy, but great! I had 2 interviews today. One of them went amazing! And the position would be absolutely perfect. I am not going to tell anymore because I do not want to jinx it! All I will say is I am so thankful for the millions of interviews I sat in and did in college because it helped a lot... But I will keep you updated on the career front:)

After my interviews Zach and I decided to make the 40 minute drive to Brand Smart and Wal-Mart, because we had gift cards to both and we still needed some storage for the closet, our last hurdle! So we went first to Brand Smart and it was a little sketchy, and I hate that place anyway because I feel like as soon as you walk in the whole store is screaming at you "OVER CONSUME!!" anyone who has been there knows what I mean all the signs are neon colors and the whole store is way to packed. And you just feel like the people in there are maxing out their credit cards on things they don't need. Anyway we had a gift card so we bought a couple of movies after waiting about 20 minutes in line. Next we were on to Wal-Mart. The parking lot was so packed that I thought maybe they had some sort of special carnival inside, but no it was just the fact that its the only Wal-Mart in the greater Miami area. Anyway we couldn't find anything we needed and I was so exhausted, lately I felt like a senior citizen and Zach even pointed out that I was acting like one. I just feel like I haven't stopped since we got down here.

After a quick stop at the trusty Target, where they should know us by name, we made it home. I decided to make Chicken Pot Pie for dinner, it was easy and turned out really tasty. That is what the picture is of, again with the food blog. As I was making dinner Zach was putting together the shoe storage boxes we bought and that is the other pic. Another really cool thing we did was make home-made ice cream. I was fortunate to get a Kitchen Aid Mixer for a wedding present, at Macy's we bought an ice cream maker as an attachment. It is so awesome and the ice cream was easy to make and absolutely delicious. I feel like Suzy Home Maker, I have picture of that as well. Thus far living in Miami and being married to my wonderful husband has been a whirlwind but an absolutely amazing experience. I feel like we are small fish in a HUGE pond, but its a good feeling knowing that we have each other and this city full of opportunities.

Well it is time to relax and get some rest. Another note Zach and I are now addicted to the reality show Flipping Out on Bravo. Jeff Lewis is so ridiculous it is entertaining! Just a note if you are in the mood for a new show.
