Aggressive Job Search

Well it is Monday morning and instead of going to work. I am instead looking for work. I have been at it for 2 and a half hours. I hope that some of my efforts pay off (literally) soon!
I have been searching for jobs all summer but it has been a little half-hearted. Now that I am in Miami I feel as if I have a better chance for success. I just want to do something I love. Is that so much to ask?

Along with job hunting I have a to-do list a mile long. As is usually true with me. I will let you in on what I need to get done today!
  1. Organize Closet (all of our clothes are still in boxes!)
  2. Make some business calls
  3. E-mail a few people
  4. Go to the bank
  5. Pick up key fob for building
  6. Plan dinner
  7. A few things for Lauren's wedding (gift, checklist, invites)
  8. Begin thank-you cards for wedding gifts
  9. Order some pictures online
  10. Make banana bread for breakfast tomorrow
Well even though it looks overwhelming in my mind it would be much more overwhelming to have have a to-do list at all.

I also need to start looking at flights, Zach and I are coming back to Atlanta for Lauren and Elliott's wedding labor day weekend. We are going to fly home and then drive Zach's car back down with our dog Juneau. I miss him a lot right now, but it has been good to get everything in order without him around.

Well better get started on that to-do list!

Well friends this month of February has so far been a great one for me and Zach. I will catch you up on the highlights. 1. Zach did really well last semester and received The Dean's Certificate. 2. Z also got an internship with a Federal Judge! So he is working with him 2 days a week. Zach on his First Day of Work 3. I got a Promotion!! I am very excited about this. Clear Headed

I am back to blogging. I took a five year hiatus and honestly I have missed the outlet. I enjoy this release, and the ability to share with people (even if it's only 2 of you - hi mom!) I turned 30 this year and I am really focused on becoming and showing my authentic self. I love birthdays because I feel like its always a good time of renewal and to reset goals and visions. I am all about making myself better, and really discovering what is going to make me happy, and thats all about what habits and ideas are going to be sustainable. And this is a great platform to write about all those interesting things, that I am sure other people can relate to. So in this journey for authenticity I really want to strive for a simplistic materialistic approach in my life (this is a pretty new idea for me), but I think it will allow more space for the things that really matter. Crazy. Beautiful Life

Well the past few weeks have been crazy! I am really getting into my new role and I must say I feel as if it suites me. Now I am still  "rookie" in every sense of the word, but to be honest I am learning from a great master. There is no better person to help me transition into this role and be the best that I can possibly be. And hey I am still me, I still Love, Love :) and that is what it is all about. When you have the honor of being a part of someone's most special day, a day that they will remember forever it really makes you realize how beautiful love is. We have a busy month ahead and I will try to update you on some of the weddings we do whenever possible because please do not doubt that they will be every bit of the word fabulous.
